The Maritime Prints business is for sale. At 78 yrs of age and after 26 years I’ve reluctantly concluded that I need to draw stumps. But a huge amount of love and effort has gone into the project so it needs to go to someone who can lavish a similar amount of care on it - it’s been a hugely rewarding business. The last Colour presented by HM The Queen to the navy was to the Royal Navy’s Western Fleet in Torbay in 1969. This new Colour was presented by Her Majesty to a representative group of the Fleet in Plymouth Sound on 23 July 2003. Mandy Shepherd has captured the scene with its variety of warships and supporting vessels of the Royal Fleet Auxiliary and with representatives of the Naval Air Squadrons that flew past during the ceremony.
